Guess what’s the most fun ever? Sciatica back pain!
Just kidding, I want to shoot somebody.
Apparently I over-extended my back in a foreword fold during yoga class 2 weeks ago, and now my lower back is still in pain. Not excruciating pain, but it hurts to put on shoes, or shave my legs, or even when I do a downward dog.
I’ve researched it and found all sorts of ways to ease the symptoms. Basically I’ve been taking lots of Epsom salt baths and doing certain sciatica nerve stretches. But d*mmit it’s not healing fast enough and I’m itching to get back to my hand stand practice.
My dad suggested I take it easy and not do anything physical for awhile- but uh, I ride my bicycle as my main mode of transportation on South Beach and I work in a high volume restaurant where I have to move, and stuff.
Stupid foreword bends!!!
The only thing that can make me feel happy right now is
sitting on my butt laying flat on my back and eating an entire platter of these bacon wrapped shrimp dates. I guess that’s a good payoff.
