Why the heck haven’t I been making flourless chocolate soufflés every single day of my life?! Stupid!
I cannot believe I didn’t think of this sooner. What’s more romantic for Valentine’s Day than treating your loved one to some melt-in-your-mouth chocolate with a warm raspberry kiss?
For the record I’m not usually so gung-ho about V-day. Usually there is way too much crappy candy/chocolate floating around the stores which isn’t exciting (it’s only second worst to crappy Easter candy/chocolate) and usually I’m single.
But not for the past two years, so damnit- I’m making it count. Plus it’s a great excuse to bust out some good 85% dark chocolate to ‘make recipes’ in the middle of the day.
I used two 5 oz ramekins for this recipe. If you don’t own two in that size then you could just use two short oven-safe coffee mugs. That’s still romantic, right?
