Good thing Easter is only once a year, because I start acting nice to those around me and guess what happens?
I lose out on cheesecake, that’s what happens. Trying to be nice and bring my coworkers a hunk of this mouth-watering cheesecake. Yep, I’m still kicking myself for that one. Sorry guys, looks like this was the last (and first) time I’ll give you any of my leftover goodies.
I made this cheesecake for Easter at my sister’s house. I’m always the delegated dessert maker.
Most of my family lives up north in Maryland but my sister, mom, and the BFs live down here. We played Taboo, which was… hilariously ridiculous.
It’s definitely not fair when us Girls plays against The Guys because we speak a special girlie lingo.
Example: Trying to describe a Rubberband without saying certain taboo words like “elastic’ or “holder’:
Rachel: “When my hair is in my face and I don’t have a scrunchie, I might use one of these from my desk.’
Boom b*tches. And that’s how we smashed The Guys.
This was the first time I gave a kombucha and sauerkraut tasting for my fam. Homemade, with love. Yeah! We always do a Polish Easter dinner as tradition from my mother’s side. Let me tell you, there’s nothing better than eating Polish Kielbasa Sausage with some homemade kraut!
