Oh, Life. Thank you for being so amazing lately. With the cooler weather finally coming around to Miami, I’ve been appreciating living life so much more. Having a killer new bike to ride in this weather also helps. So in the spirit of loving life, here’s a few things on my gratitude list:
1. MY COAUTHORED COOKBOOK IS COMING OUT DECEMBER 29TH! Yes it’s a reality and I’m so happy that all the hard work putting it together (with 9 other fabulous bloggers) is totally worth the payoff of creating something positive that will help others on their journey to good health. 2. South Beach Primal turned 3 at the end of October. It’s been a pretty wild ride, full of ups and downs, but I’m proud of where it’s at and looking forward to what the future holds for my lil blog. Keep an eye out for a celebratory GIVEAWAY to mark the occasion.
3. This past week I got to be a tourist in my own city, while noshing on delicious food from local restaurants. I partook in the South Beach Miami Culinary Tours with other Miami-based bloggers and had an absolute blast! Walking food tours are going to be my new thing. WHY HAVE I NOT BEEN DOING THEM THIS WHOLE TIME OMG? Grace, the tour owner/creator, was so inviting and I even learned a few things while walking through my own city. If any one is looking for a fascinating/delicious-foodie experience in Miami, you have to check out their other tours. Unfortunately they don’t cater fully to Paleo or Celiacs, but I was able to get 3/5 dishes gluten-free. The rest I counted as part of my cheat meals.
