This recipe looks kind of complicated now that I’m writing it down, but I swear it’s SO easy to make, and it tastes gourmet. Of course they would be divine without all the extra toppings, by why wouldn’t you want to smother anything in warm chocolate and cherries?
Another great pro about this dessert: portion control. Sometimes I can get a little carried away with a big cake and one knife. Greedy? Perhaps. Poor choice about an hour later? Definitely.
This is the first time in awhile that I’ve made cheesecake. In the state of Florida it’s illegal to sell raw dairy for human consumption. There are ways around it, of course. But oh what a treat it is.
