Who would have thought that T.G.I.Fridays would still sell “Cups of Dirt” to kids in 2013? I was in a Fridays at the beginning of the year (don’t judge me, I was with my mom) and almost died when I saw one on the kids menu.
Obviously I ordered one. And they are still SO GOOD.
Ah the nostalgia. I have great memories of the days when life was easy and all I had to worry about was whether or not I got any yellow/green gummy worms in my Cup of Dirt. To be young again…
Rachel’s logic: Dirt and worms make me think of graves, and graves make me think of the walking dead, which brings me to Halloween. Yay, a Halloween recipe that doesn’t include pumpkin! Shocking, yes. To tell you the truth I’m already pumpkin-ed out. #Blasphemy I know.
Of course, any Paleo Dirt Cup wouldn’t be complete without some bright creepy crawlers. There are a ton of great healthy recipes on the internet for gummy worms but I’ve gotta say that I’ve never tried any of them. I won a challenge from Matt’s Munchies Instagram last week and now I just so happen to be stocked with all-natural fruit leather.
Score! Their fruit leather made the perfect little gummy worms to compliment my Dirt Cups.
New to Paleo? Three of my favorite Paleo cookbooks (along with 68 more eBooks) are included in this week’s Harvest Your Health bundle .
Combined, these 3 eBooks would usually cost $50. But this week only the WHOLE bundle (these 3 eBooks plus 68 more) is only $37! That’s crazy talk. Check out my post for more info .
