I think we’ve already established the fact that I’m WAY behind the times when it comes to fads. I’m an old cat lady, I don’t get outside much.
Case in point, I’m just now getting hooked on the salted caramel craze. See, I live under a rock.
Actually, putting sea salt on anything ice cream-related is a great idea. Try it next time you’re sitting in front of the TV eating a pint of ice cream while watching Game of Thrones. Best ever!
So I made these Paleo Salted Caramel Cupcakes over a week ago, refused to post the recipe in protest of… myself? Then I broke my toe and STILL didn’t post the recipe until now because I’ve been extremely busy watching Homeland season 3. I think I get exhausted from catching up on SBP social media (because I’m like über popular. Jk. I’m not.) and then don’t have any more energy to make any delicious food for you. Womp womp.
Well actually I’ve done one productive thing so far this week. I was asked to be a recipe tester for Paleo Parents new cookbook Real Life Paleo. I tested some special grain-free chocolate chip cookies for them. They were delish! I can’t wait for their cookbook to come out.
In less than 2 days I’ll be headed to New York City with my sister (and broken toe). This will be our first “sister vacation” that doesn’t involve visiting family and staying in our comfort zone. We’ll be tackling new issues like riding the subway for the first time and trying not to get lost and/or kidnapped in China Town. At least she’s got the toe situation covered:
I love her.
