My crock pot is quickly turning into my new boyfriend. Besides the fact that I already have a boyfriend. It’s because I put in silly ingredients and then it gives me back meals like this delicious slow-cooked red pepper ginger pork. I love it.
I’m being so bad right now. I made myself a bowl of berries on the stove top with two servings of my coconut whipped cream. That’s right, TWO. It’s Friday night and the bf is out, so I’m living it up! Getting really crazy. Yep… sitting home alone in my comfy clothes on a Miami Beach Friday night.
Jesus I’m turning into an old cat lady. But without the cat. Is it possible to be a cat lady without the cats? Because trust me I tried it once WITH two cats, and I can tell you that’s only fun in theory.
They meow. And stuff.
I’ve always heard people say the older you get the faster time flies. I thought I had an inkling of what that meant- until recently. When I realized it’s already been a full year since last Thanksgiving. WHAT?! I’m. Getting. So. Freaking. Old.
Seriously, where did this year go? I get so antsy when another year passes, and I’m still not in school and I’m still bartending and blah blah blah. That’s why I love cooking, because I feel productive! And then after being productive I get to eat my production!
It’s a win-win situation.
