Did you know that you can start your day over at any point?
It’s a nice little trick and I do it often. Like when I wake up on the wrong side of the bed and I want to smash my face repeatedly into a wall after meeting the first A-hole of the day. It’s like a sign that- Hey, I need to RELAX and start my crappy day over right now.
This is exactly how my day went. Except the A-hole was my own mind telling me to eat my weight in Brach’s Candy Corns. My mind often plots against my own best interest.
So naturally, I ate my weight in candy corn. Sooo good, but sooo bad. Mmm waxy plastic sugar. YUM. Then as soon as I was about to enter into a DIABETIC COMA, I pushed the limp bag into my friend’s hand and was utterly disgusted with myself. At which point- I started my day over! And then took a nap after my sugar crash. Eh well.
I woke up with new determination to make a good solid pumpkin bread and after some tweaking, this is the final result. Wow it is so much more satisfying than sticky orange, candy corn fingers. Who knew? And best of all no heart palpitations, which is a plus in my books
Somebody please remind me that I want to make Paleo Doughnuts using this recipe. Kthanks.
