I swear I could eat a version of this every single day and still live happily. This is my basic go-to side recipe on an average night.
I used to eat Brussels sprouts by the truck load. Today it’s spicy garlicy greens.
Anything that’s simple and flavorful is my kind of side dish. In fact, I often double this recipe so I can eat leftovers throughout the week. The flavors infuse beautifully.
I’m typing this as I’m sitting on the front porch of my Grandmother’s hotel room, looking out over the ocean on Hollywood Beach, Florida.
I wish I was a retiree. Geez.
You’d think since I live only 3 blocks from the ocean on Miami Beach I’d be frolicking in the sand/water every day. Naht.
Those 3 blocks feel like 3 miles. My cousins from Maryland visited last week and couldn’t get over how clear the water is.
Just another reminder of how fortunate I am.
